What Is Life

What is life?, so the question goes

I’m not really sure anyone knows

Life is many things indeed

Because each grew from a different seed

To some, life is an endless treasure

To others it’s a task far beyond measure

Treasures are kept and remembered for years

Hard tasks often bring heartache and tears

Life is laughter, but also pains

Life is losses, and then some gains

Life is children, happy and gay

Learning from adults every day

Life is bills, disease and worry

Things you want to pass in a hurry

Life is an expression of love

From the Creator of Life, our Father above
