OFFICER PAUL SCHMUCK
Officer Paul Schmuck, I’m so glad that you came there,
When my Service Dog and I got thrown out of my powerchair.
I don’t know what I would have done had you not come to my aid,
On that really, to me and my Service Dog, gosh awful day.
Thinking about me, was the last thing on my mind.
I was mainly worried about my Service Dog most of the time.
After you said you would see to the dog, then I worried about the chair,
For without that, I can’t go much of anywhere.
Once these were taken care of, then I noticed the pain,
And could not believe, bad luck had struck again.
The people at the apartment building said it was strange to see,
My Service Dog in her basket on the seat of the powerchair,
and not see me.
Then they realized I must have been in the ambulance they heard,
And wondered what the accident was and how badly was I hurt?
But you were my Hero throughout the whole thing.
If I could see you, I would give you a hug, and say Thank You again.
Thank You My Hero,
